FAQ's

You start by clicking on the REGISTER FOR FREE button on the home page which allows you to create an account. You will be asked to input some details including a username, password, and email address. It's as easy as that!

Click on the 'forgotten password' link on the log in screen. You will be asked to enter either your username or your registered email address. An email link will then be sent to you to allow you to change your password.

Go through the same process as for a forgotten password but enter your email address rather than username when prompted. The email we send to you to allow you to change your password will also remind you of your username.

Once logged in, go to the 'Profile' tab and click on the 'Edit' button. This allows you to set your avatar or change your username, email address and password if required.

Click on the 'Quizzes' tab, choose your level (e.g. GCSE, Standard Grade), choose your subject (e.g. Biology, PE). You will then see a choice of quizzes within your chosen subject. Click on the 'play' icon to take you into the quiz.

Once you have played a quiz, you can access it again either through the 'Recently Played' list on the home screen, or through your 'Scores' tab or else through the 'Quizzes' tab as before.

It shows you the highest score you have earned on each of the quizzes you have played. The icons to the right of your highest score allows you to either 'play' the quiz again, see all the scores you have achieved for that particular quiz, see your friends scores for that quiz if they have played it, and also see where you rank in InQuizitor world.

Ask your friends for their username, enter it on the 'Profile' tab and click 'Invite Friend'. Your friends will need to accept your invite before their scores will show up on your scores tables. Your scores will then also be on their high score tables.

You cannot use InQuizitor to search for friends. We take privacy seriously at InQuizitor. We also understand that some people do not like to share their scores with others but prefer to work alone.

There is a 'remove friend' button to the right of your friend's names on the 'Profile' tab. Clicking it will remove them as a friend. They won't be informed you have removed them but they will no longer see your scores on their scores tables, and you of course won't see their scores either.

We already have an extensive list of quizzes on our site but we add to the list all the time. Keep checking back or else let us know what topic you are looking for by email .

By playing regularly, InQuizitor will help you remember facts that will help you in your exams. In independent trials, InQuizitor was shown to improve attainment by over 70%. Remembering the facts after a period of time also improved in the trials. We can't do your exams for you but we can make studying more fun!
